The Quintana Roo State has more than 400 bird species and around 10 endemics depending on the destination. On our tours we can see between 35 to 70 species varying by season and bird activity of the day.
Depending on where you are staying you can choose between our most famous destinations like, Muyil (Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve) Coba, Tulum, Cozumel and Puerto Morelos (Reserva Toh).
You have the option to add transportation for an extra cost for a car with tourism plates and traveler insurance. Your guide will also be your driver. For closer destinations, such as Muyil and Coba, you have the option to drive if you have a rented car to reduce the cost of the tour.

If you are staying between Tulum and Playa del Carmen and want a full day of birding starting at 6 am and finishing around 4 pm, you can choose this option. We will start by visiting Muyil (Mayan community, Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve and archeological site).

After having a delicious Mayan local lunch, we continue to Coba to add some extra species and on the way back we can visit a spot near Tulum to finish. On this tour we can see between 60 to 85 species in a day.
If you are an avid birder and you are looking for a multiple-day tour to find as many species as you can this is the perfect option for you.
You can choose the destination on some of our multiple days. Itinerary planned ahead depending on how many days you are available.
We have options from 1 to 10 days visiting many spots all around the Yucatan Peninsula or if you have a list of specific target species just send me a message with your requirements and I can create the best plan for you to find the maximum number of your species.
Does not include: Meals (this is because some people need specific special food, so you pay during the stops you want to make, but depending of your requirements you are not going to spend more than 20 usd for each meal because I will bring you to good places with good prices).
